USA Dance Denver fall Competition

The Untied States Amateur ballroom dance Association in Denver held it’s annual fall competition on Saturday September 24th, 2018. Dancers gathered to compete in Ballroom, Latin, Smooth and Rhythm dances. Two couples from Adventures in Dance traveled to the Denver Turnverein to compete and strut their stuff.
Youth competition dancers
Noah Wells-Alirez and Leah Kern represented Adventures in dance in the Youth division. Starting in Standard Ballroom Noah danced with Robyn Collins. They won their Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep. Then Noah danced Latin with youth newcomer Leah Kern. They won their Samba, Cha-cha, Rumba, and Jive.
Adult competition dancers
Adult champions Robyn and William danced three styles of ballroom. They danced their Gold Standard Ballroom Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep. Then they danced their Silver Smooth Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and Viennese Waltz. Last of all they did a mix of Silver and Gold Latin dances. They danced their Silver Samba, Cha-cha, and Rumba. Then they danced their gold Paso Doble and Jive. They won all their dances.

Everyone had a great time and look forward to dancing again. Robyn and Bill will dance next in California in December, so stay tuned to hear how they do.
